About Kasey

Kasey Brown hails from a small town in northern Massachusetts, and is living out her third year in NYC! When she was a child, her family always wondered why she answered the phone as 'Jasmine' or 'Ariel.' But later on it made perfect sense when Kasey decided to join the crazy train and become an actor! Kasey studied theater at Phillips Exeter Academy and Boston College, earning both a Bachelors in Theatre and Psychology! After graduating, she interned at Northern Stage, and has been involved with such wonderful New York-based theatre companies as Working Artists Theatre Project, Manhattan Shakespeare Project, Mercury Glass Theatre Company, and Everyday Inferno Theatre Company.

In the big city, Kasey acts, directs, sings, collaborates, and creates. She is currently writing and rehearsing Thank You For Waiting with Marc Franklin, which they will both be starring in at the Frigid Festival this February 2016. When she is not busy working on her craft, Kasey mentors people with developmental disabilities, scopes the city for the best desserts, and looks for the creative in everything around her.
